Today, I want to talk to you, and hear from you (!), about reading fiction. Specifically, me reading fiction. (Hint: I’m not doing it.) Think you can help?
My terrible reading habits …
When I look at the blogs and newsletters of other authors who interest me, I frequently find that they share a monthly update on books that they’re currently reading. My reading list, however, is strictly non-fiction. I read all about marketing, writing craft, and strategies to find new readers.

No wonder I can’t keep my eyes open!
Obviously, I write in a variety of genres: Young Adult Dystopian, Middle Grade Fantasy, Middle Grade Supernatural, and, soon, Young Adult Fantasy. These are the genres that interest me the most. I’m not a romance reader, and no space ships for me, but give me a kiddo up against the odds, and I’m all for it!
So, I have a request:
Can you help me break out of my non-fiction bubble?
Please comment with suggestions for books you think I would like! I’ll pick one to read each month for the next 12 months and share my thoughts on these books here on the blog.
You can also email suggestions directly to me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
I hope to hear from you soon, and until then, Happy Reading!
